Hello world changers!

This is Juliet, Jordana, Lara, Steph and Meghan, your youth representatives on the Free The Children Board of Directors, coming at you from all corners of the US and Canada! When we first were selected to serve as youth representatives (a rare thing–almost no one has young people on their boards!), we were all nervous but also really excited. After all, we were representing all of Free the Children's one million youth members.

In addition to attending Board meetings and helping to make decisions, we act as Free The Children ambassadors. Fortunately, we're incredibly passionate about Free The Children, the young people involved in its programs and the impact it has overseas. We know there are tons of you out there who feel the same. That's why we want you join us!

We're looking for more youth to join the Board of Directors. To qualify, you must be under the age of 18 and be willing to serve for four years. New youth representatives will be responsible for attending meetings and working to support the goals of the organization through fundraising or volunteering on Board and organizational priorities. If you care about Free The Children and want to represent the youth perspective, you should apply!
